| Zhao Dexian is a Chinese Korean dance artist with outstanding achievements,and a dance director,educator and theorist with far-reaching influence in the history of Chinese modern dance.He has made great achievements in his life,and is full of innovative ideas in all fields of dance creation,performance and education.This article focuses on his concept of dance creation,and is committed to exploring its composition and formation.Zhao Dexian’s creative concept is never simply about how to create technical issues,but contains a fundamental understanding of dance art and dance creation itself,involving the "for whom" and "for what" issues of creation,as well as how to treat and deal with the new/old,traditional/modern,national/international,special/universal relations,which is also a common problem faced by Chinese dance artists in the new era.Therefore,this paper hopes to obtain an enlightening epistemological and methodological framework through the research on Zhao Dexian’s concept of dance creation and its formation,so as to help the development of Chinese dance art in the new era.In view of the above,this paper intends to systematically explain Dexian’s concept of dance creation from three aspects: "for life","for the people" and "for the nation",and grasp the formation of his concept of dance creation from two perspectives: macro(social and historical background)and micro(personal practical experience),thus revealing the overall picture of dance creation concept,that is,moving towards "noble dance"."Noble dance" can be regarded as the "narrative prototype" and core hub of Zhao Dexian’s dance creation concept,which can dominate his rich and diverse creation ideas and reveal his "personal identity".On this basis,try to extract contemporary inspiration from Zhao Dexian’s dance creation concept based on the new era context.Therefore,in addition to the introduction,conclusion and overview of Zhao Dexian’s artistic path and creative characteristics,this paper mainly consists of the following three parts:First,systematically explain the content composition of Zhao Dexian’s dance creation concept,that is,clarify the triple creation concept of "for life","for the people" and "for the nation",and prove that they are unified in "noble dance".First of all,his creation concept of "for life" highlights the function of dance art in life and emphasizes the involvement in real life.In Zhao Dexian’s view,dance creation is not only a practice oriented "life education",revealing "how people live",but also an art of exploring real life,which requires meeting(anticipating)reality.Secondly,the creation concept of "for the people" emphasizes the construction of the perceptual distribution order based on the people.The core pursuit and fundamental value orientation of dance creation should be people oriented.It is necessary to provide the people with a dual mirror image,that is,a mirror image reflecting real life and a mirror image strengthening subjective consciousness.The two are dialectical unity.By providing a dual mirror image,we can establish a people centered perceptual distribution order.Finally,the creation concept of "for the nation" advocates that dance creation should be the "spiritual root replantation" of folk/national forms,that is,traditional reconstruction.It includes three key actions,namely "folk root seeking","traditional reconstruction" and "local sublimation",so as to transcend the traditional/modern,special/universal opposition structure.The second is to explain in detail the influencing factors of Zhao Dexian’s concept of dance creation.First of all,it explains the macro factors that affect the formation of Zhao Dexian’s concept of dance creation,that is,the social and historical background of it,including the three major factors of nation,era and environment."Nation" includes two parts:national psychological characteristics and identity,"era" includes two parts: war era and peaceful period,and "environment" includes multiple literary and artistic environments such as Korean New Dance Movement environment,Harbin ballet art environment,and military cultural creation environment.Secondly,it explains the micro factors that affect the formation of Zhao Dexian’s concept of dance creation,that is,Zhao Dexian’s personal experience,including dance practice experience,theoretical exploration experience and mentor friendship experience.Dance practice experience includes two aspects: absorbing nutrients from ballet art form and dance creation rooted in national life;The exploration experience of dance theory includes not only the study of Japanese modern dance,but also the study of the origin of Korean dance;The exchange experience of mentors and helpful friends includes exchanges with Wu Xiaobang,Gu Xuefu and Li Chengxiang.The above factors shaped Zhao Dexian’s concept of dance creation from different aspects,and promoted him to the "noble dance".The third is to explore the contemporary inspiration of Zhao Dexian’s dance creation concept.Zhao Dexian’s concept of dance creation will again and again inspire us to reposition dance art,dance creation and creative subject in the world,so as not to lose direction in the current era,and firmly move towards the "noble dance".First of all,it enlightens us to reposition dance creation and endow dance with the intervention of "for life".Dance creation is the action of "entering the world with dance",which reflects the concept of "noble dance",appeals for the political ethical commitment of dance creation,and highlights the public,realistic and practical character.Secondly,it enlightens us to reshape the creative subject and enhance the organic nature of "for the people".The dance creators should be "organic" intellectuals who "serve the people".They should rebuild the "organic" combination with the people,and establish a dual identity of "dependent being" and "educator" among the people.Finally,we should learn from artistic methods to master the dynamic inheritance of "for the nation"."Dynamic inheritance" inherently contains the contradiction and unity of protection and innovation,root seeking and reconstruction,inheritance and development.Seeking the subjectivity and autonomy of Chinese dance art will inevitably involve how to face,handle and apply traditional forms/folk forms,and "dynamic inheritance" provides us with an epistemological and methodological framework for thinking about and solving this problem. |
