| From Protagoras of ancient Greece declared that "man is the scale of everything" to Heidegger’s "sacred scale" in the 20 th century,"scale" or "order" is the coordinate system for human beings to recognize reality, anchor themselves and measure the world.Painting,as a pearl on the crown of human civilization, has a wide and long-lasting order, and it is constantly changing and developing. This article focuses on the order of painting, based on the scale of painting methodology, sorts out previous discussions, measures the identity and heterogeneity between the main painting orders in different periods, traces the paradigm transformation from tradition to modernity, from concept to sensibility, and explores the internal relationship between painting and its essence,as well as with nature. The full text is divided into five chapters, which analyze the representative painting order of different periods and demonstrate from a methodological perspective how painting can continuously achieve factor balance and order harmony as a whole in its development process. The first chapter examines the perception and construction of the painting order, starting with the germination of the order in the cave period and the ancient Egyptian murals, investigating the imitation of the natural order by the ancient Greek and Roman painting order, the hierarchical order in the medieval religious painting, and the traditional painting order of Western painting in the Renaissance that expresses the theme in an ideal form. The second chapter examines how painting can face the natural order to realize itself, focusing on the analysis of the order in Monet’s and Shura’s paintings, pointing out that Impressionism shook the traditional painting order and established a new order of color harmony by light and color analysis, demonstrating the construction process of light and color order. The third chapter discusses the order of the composition realm of painting.By studying the form composition in Cezanne’s mid painting and the color composition order in his late painting,it discusses Cezanne’s return to the source of ancient Greek painting to find a painting order phase equilibrium with the natural order, and through his paintings in nature,he deconstructs "form" by "direct composition" and "color composition" by "form composition",Further demonstrate the shift of painting from "formal order" to "order of existence".Chapter 4 explores the loss of natural order,Chapter 5 discusses the pursuit of true order, and explores the two major branches that emerged after Cezanne established the order of existence: the deconstruction and reconstruction of formal order in painting after the relationship with nature was downgraded; In the process of seeking truth in Giacometti and Morandi’s paintings, the order that is hidden due to "existence and time" is generated. |
