| The Tang and Yuan dynasties were a period of obvious social changes in ancient Chinese history, when the Taihang Mountain area was affected by social, geographical and other factors, and the tombs of the Tang and Song and Yuan dynasties in this area showed diversity and complexity characteristics. In previous studies, because the research object was limited by geographical delimitation or special topic selection, the research object was only a place and a thing,or only a cultural phenomenon. In view of this situation, this paper will take the Tang and Yuan tombs in Beijing,Hebei,Henan and Shanxi in the Taihang Mountains as the main research objects, and study and discuss the Tang and Yuan tombs in the Taihang Mountain area in terms of region and burial elements.Through the overall observation of the Tang and Yuan tombs in the Taihang Mountain area, the following four questions are mainly discussed.Characteristics of burial culture in Beijing,Hebei,Henan and Shanxi in the Taihang Mountain section; The overall development of tomb culture in the Tang and Yuan Dynasties in the Taihang Mountain section; The pattern and correlation of burial culture patterns in the Tang and Yuan periods of the Taihang Mountain section; The reasons for the development of burial culture in the Tang and Yuan dynasties in the Taihang Mountain section.Through the study of the burial culture of the Tang and Yuan dynasties in the Taihang Mountain area, this paper hopes to clarify the relevant research data, explore its cultural characteristics and patterns, and make a small cultural time and space exploration for scientific research in the Taihang Mountain area.According to the spatial comparison of the burial elements of the Tang and Yuan periods in the Taihang Mountain section,it is found that the cultural pattern of Tang and Yuan tombs in the Taihang Mountain section is dynamically developed. With the passage of time,it has a certain self-development and mutual influence, and finally forms four main stages of cultural pattern development. In the first stage,in the early Tang Dynasty, the burial culture in Beijing,Hebei,Henan and Shanxi in the Taihang Mountains was relatively consistent and less different. In the second stage, combined with the analysis of tomb shape and burial products,in the middle of the Tang Dynasty, the cultural outlook of Beijing,Hebei and Shanxi in the Taihang Mountain section was relatively consistent, and the Henan area of the Taihang Mountain section was more special. In the third stage, the burial culture of Beijing, northern Hebei, central Hebei and Shanxi in the Taihang Mountain section of the late Tang Dynasty was relatively consistent, while the Henan area of Shijiazhuang,Xingtai and Taihang Mountain in southern Hebei belonged to a type of burial culture. In the fourth stage,in the Liao,Northern Song and Jin Yuan periods, four cultural areas with their own characteristics and exchanges were formed in the Beijing,Hebei,Shanxi and Henan areas of the Taihang Mountains.Through the analysis of the elements and characteristics of tombs in the Tang and Yuan periods in the Taihang Mountain section,it can be seen that due to the social structure change factors, regional factors, social consciousness and social psychological factors in the Tang and Yuan Dynasties, the combined effects have led to the following characteristics of the tombs in the Tang and Yuan periods in the Taihang Mountain section: The continuous use of daily utensils in the burial category, the decline of figurines and feng shui artifacts, and the emergence of new burial tools, reflect the characteristics of inheritance, fracture and reinvention of its burial culture. After the late Tang Dynasty, the emphasis of funerary objects on the burial hierarchy was weakened, and the mural themes and burial styles in the tomb replaced the expressive role of the funerary objects. The cultural exchanges between the Northern Song Dynasty and the Liao Dynasty enriched the cultural appearance of tombs. The cultural differences between regions gradually increased, and the influence of the characteristics of their tombs showed a dynamic state of development and transmission, and the influence and sustainability in cultural interaction were different, with distinct regional representation. The characteristics of the Tang and Yuan tombs in the Taihang Mountain section present a pluralistic and integrated appearance as a whole. |
