Science fiction literature,by narrating, deducing, and constructing meanings for the two core elements of science and fantasy, has opened up a different time and space from current life and real-life experiences. The "time and space" studied in this article is different from the time and space of traditional literature,as well as the transformational time and space of literature such as fantasy, fantasy, and magic that breaks through the constraints of rationality. It refers to the time and space combination constructed on the basis of rigorous scientific rationality in Chinese science fiction novels in the new century. They are an important field for post human perception of the world and the fundamental basis for shaping future life forms. This article specifically examines the narrative resources, localization characteristics, spatiotemporal types, spatiotemporal transformation of future life forms, and the warning and healing effects of different times and regions in the spatiotemporal writing of Chinese science fiction novels in the new century. It summarizes the turn of spatiotemporal writing and the significance of literary history,in order to provide useful references for the future development of Chinese science fiction literature. The first chapter summarizes the reference and transformation of the spatiotemporal writing of Chinese science fiction novels in the new century to the narrative resources of Chinese and foreign science fiction novels. The first section sorts out the spatiotemporal combinations and types of imagination provided by foreign science fiction novels according to different development stages, and points out that their spatiotemporal writing mode is the result of the combination of many elements such as modern Western spatiotemporal concepts, technological revolution processes, social development status, and writers’ life experiences, providing important reference for the spatiotemporal writing of Chinese science fiction novels in the new century. The second section analyzes the traditional Chinese concept of time and space and the characteristics of time and space writing in 20th century Chinese science fiction novels. It points out that the time and space writing in the new century Chinese science fiction novels has undergone contemporary transformation and innovative expression based on the two.Science fiction writers have updated the device and perspective of time and space writing through absorption, comparison, and fusion. The second chapter starts from four aspects:the grand and magnificent space and time, the consciousness wandering of Cyberspace and time, the ghost time and ghost realm of Eastern colors, and the contemporary narration of historical time and time.It focuses on analyzing the innovative aspects of Chinese science fiction in terms of time and space writing in the new century, and examining the localization and nationalization path of science fiction time and space writing. The first section takes the works of Liu Cixin,Jiang Bo,and Xia Jia as the research objects, examines the spatiotemporal writing characteristics of the magnificent space and the amazing beauty it creates, and analyzes how science fiction writers write the Chinese version of "space opera";The second section explores the regional and nationalistic aesthetic qualities of Chinese cyberpunk novels’ spatiotemporal writing, pointing out that Chinese science fiction writers are using love, returning home, emotions, etc.to confront the technological alienation and identity crisis of cyberpunk novels; The third section focuses on science fiction writers’ efforts to connect science fiction literature with traditional supernatural narratives through the ghost time and ghost realm of the technological era,and to achieve a new discourse system that both rationally disenchantes and enchants the upper body, reflecting the writers’ efforts to reflect on modernity and explore the localization path of science fiction literature; The fourth section analyzes how Chinese historical science fiction novels in the new century complete the deconstruction and reorganization of history from aspects such as spatiotemporal forms, preferences, and narrative techniques. The intertextuality between history and the future conveys the author’s reflection and deep concern for reality, triggering readers to think about how China, with its ancient history, can stand on its own in the context of globalization.Chapter 3 analyzes the unique rural spatiotemporal entities, homestead spatiotemporal entities, and aircraft spatiotemporal entities in the future. These spatiotemporal entities are important carriers for science fiction writers to shape different times and regions, containing unique social, historical, and aesthetic values. The first section starts with the heterogeneous and bizarre characteristics of science fiction rural space and time, focusing on the rural landscape in the future, the spiritual space and time of Chinese farmers, and the fate direction. It focuses on how Chinese farmers accept technological enlightenment under the starry sky,in order to gain an insight into the evolution of rural China in modern discourse; The second section proposes that the traditional image of homesteads in Chinese science fiction novels in the new century is constantly declining, their residential function and bonding effect on family members are constantly weakening, and the connotation of homesteads has become ambiguous and ambiguous. It also points out that the spatiotemporal aspect of homesteads has shifted from being an important carrier of civilization to a more diverse and complex image connotation, from focusing on the public domain and collective attributes to extending to the private domain and daily life. The third section examines science fiction writers who portray various aspects of aircraft spacetime with high cultural confidence, pointing out that they use aircraft spacetime to actively contemplate national image and human subjectivity, and also use aircraft spacetime always on the road to conduct flight experiments and provide solutions for future survival. The fourth chapter focuses on the spatiotemporal transformation of future life forms in Chinese science fiction novels of the new century. If the "alien world" and "spatiotemporal body" in the first two chapters are imaginations of the "new spatiotemporal" future world, and explorations and discoveries of science fiction novels "facing the outside," then this chapter is a discourse on the "new life form" of spatiotemporal transformation, which is a writing posture that reflects on the "inward turning" of anthropocentrism. The first section focuses on the spatiotemporal transformation of post human bodies, starting from the imagination of future human bodies. It focuses on the types, effects, and impacts of body transformation in science fiction works, and rethinks issues such as the essence of humans, the boundaries between humans and objects, and human-machine ethics. It explores how science fiction novels gaze and imagine post human images, opening up a new direction for body writing. The second section focuses on the spatiotemporal transformation of "world animals",pointing out that the overall performance of animal writing in Chinese science fiction novels in the new century is that animals subtract from animal nature and add to human nature, achieving a transformation from an "animal world" to a subjective "world animal".Science fiction writers conduct future survival experiments through the metaphor of human and animal nature, pointing out that in the future, animals and humans form a new type of community relationship. The fifth chapter focuses on the important role of spatiotemporal writing in the warning and healing aspects of Chinese science fiction novels in the new century. The study of spatiotemporal writing goes far beyond analyzing the spatiotemporal combination and the spatiotemporal transformation of future life forms, and further questioning the vitality and role contained in spatiotemporal writing. The first section points out that whether it is the eerie space of the technological era,the rampant "alien" forces of media space,or the alienation problems faced by post humans,Chinese science fiction novels in the new century express different views on global integration and homogenization of modernity through"alien" writing, and issue eye-catching warnings; The second section explores the disruption of the mechanism of love occurrence, interaction patterns, and progression logic in unforeseeable alien time and space.Science fiction writers use love stories to explore the emotional structure, psychological state, and gender order of human beings in future time and space, pointing out that those cosmic passions that travel through time and space confirm that humans still have the ability to love and still need emotional comfort; The third section reveals that Chinese science fiction novels in the new century express human fears of death, alienation, extinction, and social class opposition in the future space and time. The author uses fear writing to provide allegorical insights and shapes into the future, and fear evolves from concrete emotions to creative energy, inspiring human hope and regenerative ability for the future. The conclusion summarizes the spatiotemporal writing turn characteristics and literary historical significance of Chinese science fiction in the new century. It points out that from the late Qing Dynasty until the new century,Chinese science fiction has always focused on the interweaving of modernity and modernism in terms of time and space, which is a "future realm" set through technological architecture and can be reached through hard work;Entering the new century, science fiction writers focus on the intertwined time and space of anti modernity and postmodernism, which is a fragmented, detached, uncertain, dispersed, chaotic, disorderly, and indistinguishable mixed time and space, and an ambiguous "unknown realm".That is to say,the rational and civilized "utopian realm" that was borrowed from Western science fiction in the early stage has shifted to a "utopian realm" that is difficult to grasp, complex and ever-changing,with differences and irreducibility, and infinite possibilities. The spatiotemporal writing of this period has created many new faces and is a beneficial attempt by science fiction writers to explore the localization and nationalization path of Chinese science fiction novels. However, there are still shortcomings in terms of literary, ideological, and artistic aspects. At the same time, from the perspectives of looking back on history, paying attention to reality, and utilizing media, this article points out how to further improve the quality of spatiotemporal writing in Chinese science fiction novels,in order to firmly establish the coordinates of Chinese science fiction in world science fiction literature, provide Chinese experience, and contribute Chinese wisdom.
