Border areas have different environmental,social and cultural characteristics from inland areas and other coastal non-border areas.It is an important research object of tourism geography as an important geographical element and unit.Cross-border tourism along the border is an important starting point for cross-border economic cooperation between two or more countries,and it is of great significance for promoting inter-state exchanges,coordinating national geopolitical and economic relations,and maintaining national security.On the basis of learning from previous research results,this paper discusses the port-channel-hinterland system and cross-border tourism regional system.This paper constructs the index system of the impact of port-channel-hinterland system on cross-border tourism.This paper measures the spatial and temporal pattern factors of the impact of the border port-channels-hinterland system on cross-border tourism in Yunnan by using spatial metrology,analyzes the impact mechanism,and puts forward countermeasures for the coordinated development of border cross-border tourism and port-channelshinterland in Yunnan.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)This paper deepens the research connotation of port-channel-hinterland system and cross-border tourism regional system.It defines the concept of port-channel-hinterland system and cross-border tourism.The paper integrates the port-channel-hinterland system and the cross-border tourism system,and constructs the cross-border tourism regional system.This paper defines five development driving models of cross-border tourism regional system,summarizes the development stages and characteristics of cross-border tourism regional system,and extracts 10 spatial structure models of cross-border tourism regional system from the development process.(2)The paper puts forward that the port-channel-hinterland system has an impact on cross-border tourism from four aspects: port,channel,hinterland and the whole.It reveals the theoretical mechanism of the impact of the port-channelhinterland system on cross-border tourism,constructs the index system of the impact of the port-channel-hinterland system on cross-border tourism,and obtains the spatial pattern evolution law of the circulation capacity of the port-channel-hinterland system.Dehong Prefecture,Honghe Prefecture and Xishuangbanna Prefecture have always been at the forefront of the border region in terms of the circulation capacity of the land port-channel-hinterland system.Through the measurement of cross-border tourism development index,it is found that the development level of cross-border tourism in Yunnan’s border cities and cities as a whole is evolving towards a high level,showing an unbalanced trend of phased and regional development,reflecting the polarization effect of regional development.Cross-border tourism shows a process of "first rise,then decline and then rise",but the change is small.On the moving path of the center of gravity,it shows a "hairpin" moving track from northwest to southeast..(3)This paper measures the impact of the border port-channel-hinterland system on cross-border tourism in Yunnan.It is found that the port-channelshinterland system has a positive impact on the number of cross-border tourists at ports in the region,and the impact of the county core hinterland is greater than that of the state near-region tourism hinterland.Cross-border tourism along the border is deeply affected by the port-channels-hinterland system,and the current cross-border tourism activities are mainly distributed in the core hinterland of the border counties.(4)This paper reveals the temporal and spatial pattern of the impact of the border port-channel-hinterland system on cross-border tourism in Yunnan Province.The research shows that Ruili City is always in the high value area,Funing County is always in the low value area;Menglian County and Zhenkang County have been the second largest area affected by the positive drive,Tengchong City has been the third largest area affected by the positive drive.Yingjiang County and Longchuan County decreased from the second largest area in 2008 to the fourth largest area in 2019.The positive driving effect of the port-channel-hinterland system on cross-border tourism in Malipo County varies.(5)This paper analyzes the temporal and spatial pattern evolution mechanism of the impact of the border port-channel-hinterland system on cross-border tourism in Yunnan Province.The theoretical mechanism of the impact of port-channel-hinterland system on cross-border tourism is constructed.Factors such as the spatial pattern of the port-channel-hinterland system,geopolitical and economic relations,location conditions,tourism demand,tourism attractions,and tourism industry development level play an important driving role in the evolution of the temporal and spatial pattern of the impact of the port-channel-hinterland system on cross-border tourism in Yunnan.On the whole,this study has its characteristics and innovations in the construction of the theoretical analysis framework of the impact of the cross-border tourism regional system and the port-channel-hinterland system on cross-border tourism,as well as the spatio-temporal pattern and formation mechanism of the impact of the border port-channel-hinterland system on cross-border tourism in Yunnan.
