of Buddhism ’s first introduction to Vietnam, and points out that the data of land introduction theory are more solid than those of sea introduction theory, revealing the important role of sea transportation, commercial activities, port cities and Chinese immigrants in the development of Buddhism ’s introduction to Vietnam and Vietnam,as well as the transfer of Sino-Vietnamese Buddhist exchange situation.Secondly,it examines the history and current situation of Chinese Buddhist historical books in Vietnam, reveals the ways of introducing Chinese Buddhist historical books into Vietnam and its related historical events, and compiles, writes and editions of representative Vietnamese Buddhist historical books, such as Thánh??ng L?c(圣灯录),Tam T?Th?c L?c(三祖实录),K???ng L?c(继灯录),Thi?n Uy?n Truy?n??ng L?c(禅苑传灯录),Ling Guang Thi?n Ph?i(灵光禅谱),Thi?n M?n Tu TrìKinh chúLu?t Nghi(禅门修持经咒律仪),??o Giáo Nguyên L?u(道教源流),Ng?Hành S?n T?ThíThích(五行山寺事迹),and their relationship with relevant Chinese literature.During this period, the concept of Hypo-Chinese classics was introduced, which allowed certain documents in the form of hybrid documents and classics to be placed. This deepened the understanding of Sino-nom classics in theory and practice and expanded the connotation and extension of Oversea Chinese classics. The last three chapters from the literature, literature, history, religion Qing Dynasty conducted monographic studies.Through the study of Thi?n Uy?n T?p Anh(禅苑集英),this dissertation clarifies its book formation, compilers, data sources, versions and other issues, and takes the shaping process of the two Zen masters of the early Zen school in Vietnam,Vinitaruci(毗尼多流支)and Wuyantong(无言通),and the writing of the Zen school pedigree as the clue, and explores the reality and fiction in the history of Vietnamese Buddhism and the writing of Vietnamese Zen history from the 6th to the 13th century, and the desire for orthodoxy implied in the writing of Zen history.By studying the multiple aspects of the acceptance and variation of L?ch Truy?n T???(历传祖图)in the context of the circulation of East Asian classics and its circulation, this paper examines the specific situation of the acceptance and variation of Chinese books and the concept of Chinese books as the carrier, and the acceptance and variation of culture in Vietnam. It reveals the circulation phenomenon and reproduction of Buddhist scriptures in the Han culture circle of East Asia and its hidden sectarian consciousness,as well as the three meanings of L?ch Truy?n T???(历传祖图)in recording the history of Vietnamese Zen,highlighting the model of Vietnamese Buddhist characters, and providing lessons and ritual texts for Vietnamese monks.Through examines two documents written by the famous Lingnan monk Shilian Dashan regarding the spread of Buddhism in?àng Trong during the early Qing Dynasty. The two documents in question are Hai Wai Ji Shi(海外纪事)and Han Weng Lao He shang Hai Wai Chan lin Si Lu(厂翁老和上海外禅林寺录).Thislast chapter analyzes the content and relationship of these two books, explores the reasons behind Dashan’s presence in?àng Trong, investigates the influence of Lingnan monks in early Qing Dynasty?àng Trong, and considers the relationship between the introduction of Buddhism and the integration of?àng Trong Buddhist sects.Through these investigations, the chapter seeks to reveal the significance of Dashan’s role in the development of Vietnamese Buddhism,as well as the reasons and policies underlying the Chùa Nguy?n’s belief in Buddhism. On the basis of the above research,This dissertation approaches specific problems of Buddhist history books from four dimensions: ancient Chinese literature,Chinese classical philology, history, and religion. It extracts topics such as Vietnamese Buddhism and maritime transportation, the orthodox writing of Zen history,Buddhism and politics, the introduction of precepts, and sectarian integration, all of which are of great significance to the study of the orthodox concept of the writing of Vietnamese Zen history, the structure of the Zen system, and the deeds of Zen monks.Additionally,it expands the study of pre-modern Vietnamese book history,Sinology, and the history of Zen in Vietnam.Through an investigation of the various forms of regeneration of Buddhist historical books in Vietnam,it becomes clear that two forces are at work: the "Chinesization power" of Chinese cultural forces represented by Buddhist belief in Vietnam, and the "tolerance power" of Vietnamese locals actively accepting Chinese culture. The second force is the "adaptability power" of Chinese cultural forces represented by Buddhist belief in Vietnam, and the "variable capacity" of the Vietnamese side to accept Chinese culture. |
