By using the typical salt deposit that we have known its geological information, geophysical data and so on, we can analysis the evolution characteristics,geologic characteristic,the section structure,mineral-formation condition of salt mineral of every area of DaMenKou basin and dongying depression. According to these,we can analysis of mineral salts in shandong tertiary, analysis of the structure characteristics and strata distribution, regularity of mineral salts (salt ore metallogenic, causes and characteristics and the changes, regularities of the salt ore),then we can predict the basin of mineral salts of Shandong province tertiary.This paper studies the main control factors of mineral salts in shandong province, mainly including regional tectonics, climate, topography, the material sources, the division of the basin of salt deposits secondorder tectonic depressions, the control of the tectonic subsidence depressions and deepest brine differentiation. Combining the character of tertiary salts in shandong province, the characteristics of basin of mineral salts, the metallogenic regularities of mineral salts in shandong province, we can forecast salt mineral, mainly divided into three areas:the first forecasting area of prediction include DaMenKou basin, dongying basin, shenxian basin, dongming basin. Second forecasting area including huimin sag, dezhou basin, ChengWu basin, linqing basin, GuanXian basin, ChengWu basin.The third forecasting area include pingdu basin.
