Geophysical exploration is divided into three parts, data acquisition, data processing and data interpretation. Seismic exploration is an important method of geophysical exploration, whose important step is seismic data processing. After half a century of development, seismic data processing has made great progress, both hardware and software, can provide users with more efficient and convenient operation.Compared with the single longitudinal wave exploration, multi-component seismic converted wave can provide additional information of seismic attributes, by combining different parameter estimation it will provide a higher reliability than simply using only longitudinal wave in estimation of underground formation media structure. Converted wave imaging capabilities in the vertical resolution and signal to noise ratio is not as good as longitudinal wave, but the horizontal resolution of converted wave is higher than longitudinal wave. In addition, the imaging capability of longitudinal wave in the high-speed rock is significantly worse than converted wave. The static correction of Converted wave is one of the key steps in multi-component converted wave seismic data processing, and also it is the main obstacles constrained the application effect of multi-component converted wave seismic exploration.Based on seismic data processing, this paper focused on three aspects:1 introduced the basic theory of Rayleigh wave;2 introduced some knowledge of converted wave statics, and derived formula of the forward surface wave;3 programmed the function module of surface wave converted wave statics.
