The issue is the National Natural Science Foundation project "based on the air, ice and water ice thickness measurement of physical properties and mechanical strength of the theory and research (60810025)" conducted a funding basic research.Ice and water engineering, water engineering facilities, shipping and affect normal operation at sea, and even threatened the lives of people along the security and safety of hydraulic structures, ice thickness, ice is to determine the mechanical strength of ice on hydraulic structures, equipment safety impact with the most intuitive physical parameters. Current ice thickness, ice monitoring the water level is dependent mostly manually, the lack of automatic monitoring of the time series data, also affected the increased level of ice forecasting. In addition, to achieve the mechanical strength of the ice has been in the auto-detection research. Funded this project is the subject of a national fund-depth study of these problems, from the air, ice and water to start on the physical properties of ice and ice thickness measurement of mechanical strength of the oretical and experimental study. On ice for collection and analysis of physical parameters, the follow-up experiments to provide reliable experimental data, refer to the research objectives of the State Fund, the project design, developed within the physical parameters of ice comprehensive test device, the use of the device can measure the ice three commonly used within the physical parameters (resistance, capacitance and temperature), ice thickness can also be applied to the detection.Through the study on the air, ice and water to achieve different physical properties of the physical state of the ice within the principle of automatic detection, capacitive-based CAV444 ice thickness sensor based on improved design and development of the comprehensive test of ice physical parameters within the device. Many experiments, the physical parameters of the collected data were analyzed and compared, to identify the physical parameters of some internal changes in the law of ice for the National Fund of the task completed and the mechanical strength of the ice deeper study provides experimental data and information.Integrated with the ice test device within the physical parameters of the design and development, the paper following a systematic study:1) Through access to large amounts of data, ice detection technology on the international status of a detailed analysis, research and comparison.2) Study based on the air, ice and water to achieve different physical properties of the physical state of the ice within the principle of automatic detection. 3) Fund research projects with the state mandate and the needs of engineering applications, the existing ice thickness in the laboratory detection system based on the design of improved and integrated ice physical parameters within the test device.4) Completed within the physical parameters of ice comprehensive test equipment hardware and software design tasks. Include:the sensor part of the structural design, hardware design, component selection and application requirements; data processing part of the structural design, the hardware circuit and software design.5) The use of ice physical parameters within the test device integrated a number of experiments in the laboratory, the collected data classification, analysis and comparison-based follow-up study has provided the subject and based on reference data.The experimental data and device operation analysis showed that the physical parameters within the ice for the national comprehensive test device research fund projects provide a special pre-test equipment, data collection completed by early experimental studies, laid for further development the foundation.
