In the seismic interpretation process, one of the problems is how to predict-oil or gas exploration less than 1/4 wavelength thin reservoirs. Thesis in accord-ance with the H area in the southern Songliao basin section for study target, analysis of regional geology and reserves of the situation, obtained in the study area with rapid lateral changes of reservoir properties, sandstone is thin so there can not accurately describe the reservoir distribution. In this paper, the theory of thin reservoir prediction, seismic attributes analysis method in thin reservoir prediction technology, seeks to explore the study area for reservoir prediction method.To divide bed of interest is an important part of this study in the application of methods of seismic attributes analysis of regional deposition, when combined with logging data such as stratigraphic framework established through seismic amplitude preservation(PAM) and improve the resolution of the treatment, the synthesis calibration records, and a choice for the formation of standard layer, reference to explain the purpose layers in this layer of the reference standard based on attribute extraction.Through the use of single property and multi-attribute combination of compre-hensive prediction, summarized in the study area attribute optimization and analys-is, the study area is proposed for the geological properties of the object-oriented optimization scheme:First select the destination layer properties along the small layer extraction, selection instantaneous frequency of the class attribute frequency properties, according to its properties change distribution map of sandstone; then u-se the same average amplitude of the small layer of sandstone distribution of property to further determine trends, compare the difference; finally, the peak amp-litude of the property distribution by sandstone to predict the physical properties change, the initial guess of reservoir distribution. Collected in the study area has been drilling the well logging data, that not involved in the calibration of synthetic recorded, the corresponding wells and lithologic interpretation of abnorm-al curve of the combination, compared to the thickness of sandstone and rock small change draw well area more accurate near the reservoir, the use of the above results obtained in the study area which thin sand distribution.In this case study, to summed up for the thin sandstone reservoir property extraction and optimization program, and the purpose of predicting the distribution of reservoir sandstone bands, and logging interpretation data comparison, indicates that the property methods for thin layer of ground reservoir lithology prediction.
