Since the late 80 decades,20th century, as the reservoir geochemistry of this emerging subject developed, petroleum geochemists began to successfully applied geochemical technique to solve the mechanism of reservoir formation, reservoir evaluation and development, etc. Aromatic is the important part of crude oil and source rocks, which take part the general of the total hydrocarbon from 45% to 10%. The nature of aromatic is relatively stable, and rich in geochemical information. Most aromatic substances with the structural characteristics of fluorescence emission, so using fluorescence analysis method to detection the crude oil of aromatics and compounds with high sensitivity, rapid analysis, and reproducibility advantages. With computer analysis to deal the spectral data obtained, and obtained the fluorescence information. As the stability of the complex aromatic compounds, can be used for oil-source correlation, estimated maturity of crude oil and source rocks, sedimentary environment, and research to determine the initial transfer of crude oil, etc. Geochemical exploration in oil and gas also play an important role.Firstly, author illustrates the principle of fluorescence and luminescence, spectrum detection technology, domestic oil exploration and fluorescence history and researches introduced experimental methods. The author's main work include:â‘ Established inversion method with the chromaticity coordinates, determine the maturity of crude oil, and with the geological background, combination with the geochemical data, explained the reasons for the different crude oil maturity, and confirmed the correctness of the conclusions. Based on the principle of chromaticity, compile fluorescence spectrums'chromaticity inversion program, and calculate the color coordinates of crude oil excited by monochromatic purple light from external light source. Color coordinates can reflect different aromatic compounds in different components of crude oil, because fluorescence spectrum different. In this way, the experimental results become visible, and facilitate the color distinct between fluorescence of different crude oil. From the color coordinate, we can further study the maturity of crude oil.â‘¡Using Principal component analysis method to identification oil samples, Then the further division the maturity of the selected samples. Through analysis, Comprehensively reflect the different aromatic rings in the ratio of components in crude oil, to achieve an accurate distinction between different sources of crude oil samples, In particular, are well similar to oil sources and identify the types of crude oil samples. This paper through experiments and exploration, That the chromaticity coordinate inversion, and crude oil samples of principal component analysis, can be used to determine the maturity of the different crude oil, further distinguish between different oil source. Study area combined with logging and logging data, can be used to analyze the maturity of crude oil in the area to make quantitative and comparative judgments, sedimentary environment, and research to determine the initial transfer of crude oil, etc.
