3D measurement which is based on computer screen is indispensable to digital photogrammetry. It doesn't only change the operation mode of traditional photogrammetry, but also get rid of the inconvenience caused by complex facilities, which is one of the most important characters. Nowadays, the relationship between digital photogrammetry and computer vision has become more and more close. The advantages depicted by 3D visualization in entertainment have pointed out a new direction for photogrammetry. But the cost on software for photogrammetry is still too much. 3D measurement isn't only need computer, but also need other assistant facilities. Even thought the expertise personnel need a long time to study the technique to master all the functions correctly. It is necessary to find a new way to change and improve the operation mode of 3D measurement.The thesis summarized the history of development of photogrammetry, the functions of digital photogrammetry workstation and the actuality of 3D measurement. Then the author checked the correctness and the feasibility of real-time 3D measurement by realizing a digital photogrammetry system, to explore the new methods for improving 3D measurement mode, which can be realized without assistant facilities.The main points of the thesis are as follows:1) The introduction of basis knowledge of digital photogrammetry. This part introduced two methods in photogrammetry calculation: Resection-Intersection and Relative Orientation-Reconstruction-Absolute Orientation, with some particular answers to important points which is needed to pay attention to.2) The contents and process of 3D measurement. This part analyzed the methods of choosing interesting points and matching.3) The technique of 3D visualization. This part studies the method of producing the artificial stereo vision by using professional display card, stereoscopic glasses and double-buffer tech based on OpenGL on 2D monitor.4) The realization of small digital photogrammetry system. This part is the key part of the thesis, which introduced each step of operations in system and realized the 3D measurement base on OpenGL.In the end, the author gave some advices on realizing 3D measurement with naked-eye 3D monitor.
