This paper mainly introduced the electrical properties of circular cone conductor and numerical method solution of electromagnetic boundary value problem, simultaneo- usly, it makes strict theoretical derivations and experiment explorations for the electrom- agnetic shielding effect of the metal shield.The research for electric field characteristics around the cone indicated:the surface charge density distribution of the cone is affected by a number of factors, moreover, the curvature is just one of them. For an isolated conductor, except for some special types, there is not a simple relationship between curvature and the surface charge density . The field strength and electric potential distribution of conical tip and tapered tip concave hole are both cases, and in this case, the use of Runge-Kutta method can be obtained to solve the eigenvalue cone boundary value problems, but also can obtain the corresponding normalization constant and the corresponding eigenfunctions in the value of each point of view, these are the data of measure of conical conductor boundary scattering and radiation problems which needed in the calculation.The research for several types of shielding effect of electromagnetic radiation shielding indicated:A seal on the metal plate shielding of the equipment which needs to be shielded, however, considering some of the equipments which need ventilation, lighting, heat loss and some other conditions, without affecting its shielding effect. So people need to take conditions such as the shield hole and the slot . With electromagnetic field theory and FORTRAN computer language, in the far field case, the web-like and grid-like shield and metal shield plate has a similar shielding effect with metal plate.Surface charge density and field distribution of conical conductor has great reference value for the design of lightning and electrostatic diacharge.Electromagnetic field boundary value problem are solved, which can easily acquire the source of a variety of features and engineering parameters .The study of metal shield effect of shielding electromagnetic radiation have a good theoretical and practical value for the design and material selection of electromagnetic radiation shielding protection.
