Gas-solid Two-phase Flow Measurement Device has the widespread application in metallurgy, electricity generatiom, grain processing and so on the numerous project domains. Because of the trait of the low cost, easy to realize and the simplicity of operator, Microwave Doppler radar has widely used in the above domain all the way. We can obtain some physical quantity of solid particle such as weight and velocity by the amplitude response of Doppler signal. Use USA NI Corporation virtual instrument software Lab VIEW and Microwave Doppler radar sensor to research Gas-sol id Two-phase Flow Measurement Device, calculate the velocity and mass information of the object solid in this paper then use DSP TMS320LF2407A which is good at data processing accomplish the function designed by LabVIEW.At first, design Gas-solid Two-phase Flow Measurement system based on LabVIEW and Microwave Doppler radar sensor, use NI PCI-6251 data-acquisition card to acquire Doppler reflected signal and filter the signal then obtain the power of the reflected signal by FFT(Fast Fournier transformation),the velocity of the object solid can be obtained by analyze and calculate them. And then calibrate the device:obtain the relationship of PSD of the signal and mass of the object solid by curve fitting; the mass of the object solid can be obtained by the relationship and measurement of the PSD of signal.Then, transplant the function accomplished by LabVIEW to DSP. Use A/D built-in DSP to acquire the signal, compile the program of signal acquisition, filter, FFT, LCD. Display the result of measurement on LCD, accomplished the Non-contact measurement of the object solid. At last, test the system and analyze the inaccuracy. This system has good accuracy and real importance to the research of Gas-soiid Two-phase Flow Measurement.
