Oil storage resource exploration and geophysical exploration is a new branch of geophysics developed, including extensive use of acoustic logging. Acoustic logging is one of the important oil-well logging methods, and its physical basis is borehole acoustic wave theory. As it carries more strata information and it is directly related to the oil reservoir parameters, and the well data is necessary for seismic exploration. So it has long been the most active areas of geophysical logging research. Deeply understanding of excitation properties, propagation characteristics and receiver characteristics of sound wave in the borehole is the basis of acoustic logging equipment design and data processing. When the instrument sends a time pulse in the underground, then the receiver records an impulse response signal (waveform of full wave). The most effective way that comprehensive understanding acoustic field in the borehole is to simulate the sound field in the borehole. This paper accessesfluid-saturated porous media. The acoustic logging problem is considered as a problem that porous formation surrounding the borehole liquid - solid sound waves in cylindrical layered media. Acoustic borehole depth understanding of the excitation characteristics, propagation characteristics, and receiver characteristics, is the acoustic logging data processing and logging equipment design basis. When the instrument is a time in the underground launch pulse, the receiver is to record to an impulse response signal (sound of the whole waveform.) Comprehensive understanding of borehole acoustic field the most effective way is to the borehole to simulate the sound field. In this paper, the complete Biot porous media model to simulate the actual acoustic fluid-saturated porous media, the middle point of the borehole wells hole excitation source, outside the sound field based on the theory and numerical study, study, pick up reservoir permeability Stoneley attenuation Rate method. The first part gives the sound pressure field expression in and outside well when the monopole point source excited in the Biot porous media. And get the expression of the theoretical solution in and outside the well. The results show that, the permeability outside well of the Stoneley wave attenuation is also particularly evident. Most of this work is the work of predecessors, this article only re-derivation, sorting and calculations systematically. The second part of this article based on Biot (1956) two-phase media model of the basic theory, the situation for the array acoustic logging, the attenuation of the array span of the waveform inversion is applied to the permeability. This approach requires an array of receivers should have the same frequency response. This paperinvestigates and verifies the correlation between Stoneley wave attenuation and the strata permeability. And thus the model of linear least squares inversion based on physical statistical methods and use of Stoneley wave attenuation inversion of the permeability was established. Study focused on the estimates that given different porosity, inversion of the theory synthetic full-wave data for hard formation parameters, and get the strata permeability. It improves the inversion of permeability from attenuation of Stoneley waves as a method. It compared the results between the traditional methods, the average method, statistical methods that inversion permeability method. The results showed that after using statistically the permeability inversion deviation is smaller, the average value is instability, and demonstrate the feasibility of the method.
