As the decisive element in the curriculum and teaching reform, teachers'expertise is not only the foundation of classroom teaching and the focus of teacher knowing study, but also the hallmark of formation and development of teaehers'professional growth.This paper is to study the pre-service mathematics teachers professional development,taking algebra teaching knowledge as the breakthrough point. Combining the research methods of quantitative qualitative, this paper surveyed 563 of fourth-grade students majors in maths of two normal universities in chongqing whose current status of current status in algebra teaching knowledge,and analyze the influencing factors on their development of algebraic content knowledge, then provide advice.This paper mainly studies the following three problems:Frist, through investigating into 563 of fourth-grade students majors in maths of two normal universities in chongqing. Find features of their algebraic content knowledge. Second, Looking for influence in level of teaching knowledge, third, What's the different importance because of the different source?OBJECTIVE:TO provide reference for Education reform of math teachers in Normal University,to Pre-service teachers of mathematics in the teaching knowledge, it is instructive update and develop with prospective.This paper has five parts:In Chapter One,mainly expounds the research background and significance, and determine questions of the research. In Chapter two, through systematic review of the related research literatures by me published over past two decades, this is the first time that a paper is to explore How pre-service mathematics teachers acquire and develop their algebraic content knowledge. In Chapter Three mainly expounds the research design, such as, choosing overall and samples, seting research tools, at last, dealting with and analysing the data. In Chapter Four,,based on surveying 563 of fourth-grade students majors in maths of two normal universities in chongqing,this paper study the sources on their algebraic content knowledge. And in the final part, I'll put forward some suggestions for the Development of ACK of maths teachers, with accordance with the above researchresults, aiming to help normal students, propose educational curriculum offered in normal universities.
