This article use spectral imaging technology in detection traditional Chinese Medicine fingerprint imaging, designed a set of broom sensor system based on spectral imaging detection system. This system can not only detect the characteristic spectral information of the Chinese Medicine, but also get the spectrum information's space distribution. Compared with other Chinese Medicine detection method, the system have the characteristics of simple, rapid and nondestructive testing.This paper describes the broom sensor system spectral imaging detection system, design thinking and system component device of principle and characteristics. Completed the system design, development and debugging, and the main parameters of system was determined. Meanwhile, the methodology based on traditional Chinese medicine test examines method, the system stability, repeatability and accuracy was tested.Panax quinguefolium's florescence effect is obvious during the detection. Corresponding relationships were found between florescence intensity and Saponins which is Panax quinguefolium's effective active ingredient, when detecting ginseng slice of different grades and standards. As a result, a simple, fast, lossless method, can be applied to assessing Panax quinguefolium's quality and ingredient, are established. More over, ginseng slice's florescence curve of spectrum and Panax quinguefolium's Saponins 3-D distribution spectrum can be obtained; its Saponins's distribution information can also be concluded.
