The Stage Distribution Of Datong Volcanic Eruption Age In Shanxi Datong

Datong basin,in the northern tip of Shanxi-Shaanxi Graben system,is a large north-east,south-west semi-enclose basin.It is in a NNE shear Chela China rift basin tectonic landform patterns among the new structure of the region,which is one of the strongest new tectonic movement places.Quaternary volcanic eruption was caused by the new tectonic movement and sevral volcanos located in the eastern of Datong basin.In order to prove the relationship between the new tectonic movement, the uplift of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and environment effects,this essay discusses the stage distribution of the volcano's eruption in a genesis realationshp way.Previous studies have shown that Shanxi and Shaanxi Garben evoluted gradually caused by the uplift of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in the late Quaternary. Wei River basin is the first basin influced by tectonic uplift, then Linfen– Taiyuan basin, and at last Datong Basin. Datong basin evoluted during the loess– paleosol period of L8, L5, L1.Volcanos'eruption is one of  the evidences that Shanxi Shaanxi Garben evoluted step by step.As the new tectonic movement and the climate fluctuations and other factors,Datong Basin deposited a layer of thick lacustrine sedimentary and loess-paleosol during the Quaternary period.It is that time when the volcanos erupted.The Quaternary lacustrine strata and the loess-paleosol layer interspersed with the volcano eruption.This special landscape was caused by the volcano erupted and it reflected the environmental changes. Baked layers of volcanic lava and volcanic activity in the era of era of the same profile by extracting the volcanos baked layers of information can be indirectly inferred eruption age.This paper focuses on the age of volcano eruption in Yu Jiazhai,Xiao JiaYao and Jin Mountain.According to the profile loess-paleosol magnetic susceptibility analysis,optical luminescene(OSL) dating and the previous result, YuJiazhai erupted at 0.70-0.74Ma B.P. and 0.35-0.40 Ma B.P..The age of XiaoJiaYao volcano was 0.10 Ma B.P.. The age of Jin Mountain was 0.38 Ma B.P.and 0.10 Ma B.P.. Above all,the ages of Datong Volcanos are 0.70-0.74Ma B.P.,0.35-0.40Ma B.P.,0.10Ma B.P. Combined with magnetic profile,it is L8, L5, L1 loess– paleosol period.The stage distribution of volcanic eruption reflected that the volcanic eruption was the environment effect caused by the uplift of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.Discussing the stage distribution of Datong Volcanos from a overall point can make a better understand between the Shanxi Shaanxi Garben'stage evolution and the Quaternary tectonic evolution.
