With the continuous improvement of living standards, energy demands become more and more large. Because of traditional, non-renewable energy reserves become less and less and harm to environment when used, and so on. New energy or renewable energy sources will replace them. Geothermal resource is one of the new clean energies, It may reduce pollution and better environmental protection, so we believe it has a better prospect.Sujiatun and Dongling area of Shenyang (Su Dong) is located in Shenyang Hunnan Economic Development Zone and the center of the central city group of Liaoning province, they have geographical advantage, industrial and agricultural production activity and great demand for energy. Therefore, Su Dong area's geothermal resources research both from the economic, social, or environmental benefits and other ways, have great significance. Su Dong area belonging to the North China platform's Liaodong anticline and Downstream Liao river Mesozoic and Cenozoic Rift Valley east slope of depression Composite Strip, is a small rift basin. After investigation, the Su Dong and the surrounding developed geothermal field in the geological structure are quite similar to that for the study of geothermal geology of the area to provide a basis.This paper is begin with regional geological setting, which researched combination of the regional stratigraphy, tectonics, heat distribution layer, mechanism to heat and the migration path, etc. Gradually reduced to the Hongyang Coal and Sudong area, full advantage of years of geological exploration data, pre-construction of geothermal well data, the external oil geological data to study the distribution of geothermal resources, establish the deep geothermal resource forecasting model, to conclude the possible existence of geothermal resources and further exploration of the feasibility. Full research cover rocks on the Shangshengouzi geothermal reservoir of Lower Paleozoic tectonic development of Water Control hot conditions, geothermal into the sanitary conditions, the establishment of thermal storage conceptual model to predict future exploration and development of geothermal resources.
