This paper focuses on the reservoir geological characteristic and some development issues in M-Y Oil Region of Ansai Oil Field. Based on a variety of discipline theories of Petroleum geology, Sedimentology, Logging geology and Reservoir engineering, the paper identifies and divides flow unit, and tries to find out main target of oil and gas development in research area using statistical analysis and fuzzy clustering and other mathematical methods.Firstly, the paper divides Chang 6 oil-bearing layer into four oil segments of Chang 61,Chang 62,Chang 63,Chang 64 through comparison of stratigraphic division and comparison of oil and gas bearing system. All segments divide into oil layers.Secondly, combined with regional geological background and analysis of sedimentary features, it finds out that Chang 6 oil-bearing layer in research area is detla front intrafacies, and its deposit microfacies is distributary channel of under water,interdistributory bay of under water,mouth bar,natural levee of under water,under water crevasse splay,front sand sheet。Among them, under water distributary channel sand body is main oil and gas reservoir in research area.Thirdly, this paper does some research on reservoir's diagenic metamorphism,microcosmic pore configuration,heterogeneity and four properties relations in research area. It identifies that it is low permeability reservoir in research area, and Chang 62 oil segment is the main target segment of oil and gas development for its strongest heterogeneity.Then it summarizes concept, genetic type, division principle and research method of flow unit systematically. Based on this, it identifies single well flow unit by using well log data, establishes log interpretation model by selecting parameter of characterization flow unit, and divides flow unit into G,M,P categories by using fuzzy clustering method and Fzi.At last, based on identification and division of single well, it uses geophysical methods for prediction of flow units between wells, and provides a basis for subsequent oil field development.
