Ground fissures in Xi'an is a regional disaster, their research has several decades, made a lot of research results. In this paper, reference to a number of ground fissures sites of on the basis of survey data, combined with some elements of building structure, through simulation of the building crossing ground fissures, analysis the impact of of activities of ground fissures on the internal forces of building structure.First,based on the amount of ground fissures's work of ancestors, describe the main factors affectingthe building in detail in the three aspects of the scope and impact of the rupture zone area, ground fissures compared with soil physical and mechanical properties and the movement of ground fissures in Xi'an and active features.Second, analysis of the main technical measures in buildings and typical examples to crossing ground fissure. After a brief introduction of the building structure type, respectively, from building measures, structural measures and other measures analysis of structural response to the uneven settlement of the measures.Again, using the results of the Previous two chapters, establishing a model building. Using structural design software PKPM to simulate two cases(without considering the impact of ground fissure and considering the impact of ground fissure), impacting of upper structure of the internal forces of the building. In the case of without considering the impact of ground fissure, comparing the bending moment and shear of beam, shear force and bending moment and axial force of column. In the case of considering the impact of ground fissure, also compared the change of internal forces on the settlement of before and after, then having overall qualitative analysis and quantitative comparison under the situation of these two cases. Finally, some basic and simple foundation aspects and measures have been introducted. The impact of the building in the form of linear partial settlement is very large, while the overall tilt-type settlement are more moderate. Comprehensive technical measures taken to maximum security model simulation results show the model to the overall tilt type settlement, the largest settlement amount-50mm and-100mm, the building no damage phenomena occur, and when the maximum settlement increased to-150mm, the Building Model of failure phenomena occur.
