The Land Classification Study Of Eco-Towns Based On RS And GIS

The land-grading and assessment of the land's economic value were often concerned in today's urban land market, but there is lack of land classification which can macro-control of the town land's ecological and economic value. Eco-town is the future urban development model. With the accelerated urbanization process, land as a scarce resource, the ecological problems of land will be intensified. Town land use allocation and space optimization level affected the environmental quality of the town directly. Under the socialist market economy, the land-grading of eco-town can be used as an economic lever to improve the land level and price of ecological protection area and to optimize the structure of the town land. It can guide the town to develop with a reasonable size and scale and can strengthen the ecological security and promote sustainable development of eco-towns.According to the theoretical basis of eco-town land classification and the classification principles, the paper took the concept of the economic value of land resources and ecological value of the land classification as the base and took "urban land classification procedures" as an important practical guide which was compiled with General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China (AQSIQ) to study the eco-town land classification of Chongqing to post a solution which select classification factor and weight evaluation. Selecting the land classification factors as the breakthrough points and trying to step the ecological factors which are based on the land environmental quality into the land classification factors. And then with the classification factors such as town location, size of town agglomeration, town basic living, regional economic development lever, regional comprehensive service ability and potential supply of regional land to use multiple factors evaluation to establish a land classification system which is different from other towns.With the spatial data acquisition, analysis and management capacity of RS / GIS, the land classification model of eco-Chongqing was established based on the application and improvement of town land classification method. Taking the land of forty districts of Chongqing as the sample and selecting a total of 7 categories of factors and 24 indicators to conduct an empirical research according to the actual situation. Delphi method was used to determine the weight, total frequency curve method was used to divide the classes initially, cluster analysis method was used to verify, and eventually the forty towns was divided into five classed. Though further analysis of the classification results to explore the application of the classification results in ecological planning and management of land. And policy recommendations about ecological planning and management of land were made to Chongqing. Finally, according to the practical problems encountered in the study, the direction related to eco-town land classification in the future which needed further investigation was proposed.
