In this paper, we study the identification of the boundary value in one dimensional heat equation, which is widely used in the Industry. In this paper, we studied the problem using a new numerical method for solving the heat conduction problem of estimating unknown boundary value. It is shown that this kind of problem can be formulated as an optimization problem. Genetic algorithms is developed for solving the resulting optimization problem. The Genetic algorithm is an intelligent algorithm, It is widely used. So far, extensive research has been per-formed exploiting the properties of genetic algorithms and demonstrat-ing their capabilities across a broad range of problem. The proposed algorithm provides a global optimization instead of a local optimiza-tion with highly-improved convergence performance. Some numerical results are presented to demonstrate the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed method.
