Groundwater resources in Xinjiang are an important part of freshwater resources, in order to solve the groundwater over-extraction, The xinjiang nanjiang Groundwater observation Wells telemetry system has been built. Geographic information system widely used in resource investigation and evaluation of the environment, hazard prediction, etc. Telemetry system software is based on GIS technology, using the object-oriented method of development, fully embody spatial query and analysis of underground water features of remote real-time collection, information for relevant departments to provide management decision-making basis. The article mainly made the following several aspects of research:First, Through the early stages of the demand survey at home and abroad, and xinjiang groundwater resource protection and utilization of geographic information system, analyzes the basic theoretical issues comprehensive, from system design and geographic database establishment, etc., all of the geographic information system quickly built form relatively reasonable scientific study of the development process;Second, Discuss B/S and C/S system in the pros and the possibility of hybrid application of GIS. In order to balance the client hardware and server pressure, solving large model computation response speed and computing speed when the contradictions;Third, Use Com GIS technology secondary development of groundwater resources in nanjiang building a successful management system, the secondary development based on it SuperMap GIS system design, technical process, please discuss;Fourth,To system monitoring management subsystem, spatial data and attribute data interoperability, basic space and statistical analysis and main functions for research.System establishment in groundwater resource management for GIS application provides new development form, the operation of the system reduced water staff labor intensity, the accuracy of the information, water real-time assured and produce certain social and economic benefits.
