In recent years, with the oil and gas exploration and development work continued to deepen, both in the higher or lower degree of exploration blocks has been found the low resistivity reservoirs, indicating that the low resistivity reservoir has broader distribution and has great contribution to increase reserves. The reason of the low resistivity reservoirs is very complex and diverse; it is very difficult that we use normal measures to evaluate it. Using well-logging data, which connect geologic, seismic and reservoir data, evaluate the low resistivity reservoir is imperative.In this paper, we used 15 wells data, including well logging, testing, core analysis and sedimentary background information, to start research works. Those wells belong to five blocks of the Pearl River Mouth Basin. The sedimentary environment is simple in this area, leading to develop a typical lithology low resistivity reservoir, so to build accurate reservoir parameter and saturation model, to give exactly the lower limit of reservoir effective thickness and to identify exactly the fluid are very important to evaluate the low resistivity reservoir. Modeling of in reservoir parameter, we used three measures which are point to point, section to point, section to section, gradually improve model accuracy, at last we achieve exact parameter model. In saturation studies, the first we built the bound water saturation model, which used mercury, relativity permeability and semi-permeable membrane data, comparing three methods ,at last we chosen semi-permeable model. The second we build water saturation model, which used mercury intrusion methods and dual porosity water model. Connecting bound water saturation and water saturation model ensure saturation interpretation accuracy; In lower limit of reservoir effective thickness, using forward and reverse accumulation methods to define porosity and permeability lower limit, using cross plot methods to define the effective thickness lower limit; Identification of the fluid, using the interpretation method, using the wireline formation testing to recognize oil-water interface, using wavelet muti-scale analysis to identify oil and water. All those methods have achieved good results.Doing the low resistivity reservoir classification and production forecast. By production and reservoir parameters single correlation analysis to achieved comprehensive evaluation index. Using the index to classify reservoir. On the basis, using multiple regression to predict production, which have achieved good result.
