Through analyzing the complex geological characteristics of sedimentation and structure in Nanpu Region of Jidong Oilfield, the lithology and physical properties of the formation are proved to be complexly variable and of partially great difference, resulting in the complex change of logging responses of the formation after water-flooded. This adds to great difficulty for accurate logging interpretation and evaluation. This paper aims at researches on the changes of lithology, physical and electric properties of the formation after water-flooded. Then we generalize the corresponding qualitative recognition methods of water-flooded layers in this regionAfter experimental measurement and analysis of the coring samples before and after water-flooding, it is concluded that the samples after water-flooding show bigger porosity and permeability as well as compressional and shear wave time differences, while the shale volume reduces. Through researching the mechanism of oil-water displacement experiment and analyzing its results, the curves under different connate water salinities and their causes are given, providing base for researching on resistivity logging response characteristics. The changing rules of m and n with lithology are obtained from the analysis of F-Φand I-Sw relationships under different salinities. This can provide theoretical guide for the research of Archie parameters under different salinity and lithology conditions. By analyzing the logging responses of water-flooded layers in this region, we further evaluate the sensitivity and reliability of different logging methods for water-flooded layers. Along with the experimental results, the qualitative recognition methods of water-flooded layers are summarized.This paper, according to the existing cases of water-flooded layers and the literature review of interpretation methods of water-flooded layers, analyzes the changing rules of geological characteristics and the characteristics of physical, electric, acoustic and nuclear magnetic properties after water-flooding in this region, which is helpful for the qualitative interpretation of water-flooded layers in Gaoliu Region.
