Currently, 3D geological modeling and visualization technology have been widely used in China's mining industry, and "Digital Mine" is the inevitable future trend of the mining industry. In order to quicken "Digital Mine" step of Nan Jing Qi Xiashan Lead-Zinc Mine, this paper has studied the basic principles and specific methods to build geological database, 3D geological model and Grade model with the help of 3D mining software Surpac, based on the geological data of Nanjing Qixiashan Lead-Zinc Mine, and explored 3D Visual Graphic Display Method of the geologic database, stope solid model and Sulfur body grade model and the application of this technology in the mine. The main work and research results are as follows:①The present development situation of 3D mining software at home and abroad have been analyzed, and 3D mining software Surpac has been especially researched. Besides, it has discussed the necessity of establishing "digital mine".②In preparation for construction of stope solid model, the geological data of Nanjing Qixiashan Lead-Zinc Mine such as the engineering general situation, geological conditions, character of the rocks and ore bodies and mining methods have been collected, and the data of CAD map in each layer has been selected and then the vector has been created.③Geological database for exploration and production of Nanjing Qixiashan Lead-Zinc Mine has been established, and description form of its structure and data have been explored, and its 3D Visualization has been displayed, and the spatial distribution of lead and zinc, their qualities or characteristics inherent and variation law have been analyzed.④After researching solid model of architectonic principles, this paper has summarized specific techniques of constructing solid model, building solid model of various layers of each stope in the middle section of -425 and tunnel model in the middle section of -375 and -425, eventually forming solid model of stope in the middle section of -425, which could accurately display the spatial distribution pattern of various layers of each stope in all directions and cutting in an arbitrary direction, volume calculations, roaming, etc. So it is very important to the design and production management of ore mine.⑤Based on the ore bodies model of Nan Jing Qixiashan, this paper has thoroughly analyzed construction principles of block model and evolved the specific approach of constructing block model. Besides, This paper has also adopted the Inverse method from the power law to assign a value to block model, and explored its application in mining.
