The effects of substrate concenfration, reaction times pH and temperature on the activities of protease, amylase and sucrase in the midguts of worker honeybee(Apis cerana cerana Fabricius) was investigated; Three digestive enzymes activities was compared between Apis cerana cerana Fabricius and Apis mellifera iigustica Spionla.. The optimum substrate concentration reaction timex pH and temperature ,were respectively 1 .0%,30min,7.0,41 ±0.5℃ for the protease activity, l.5%,15min,4.8,45±0.5℃ for the amylase activity, 3.0%,15min,4.6,45±0.5℃ for the sucrase activity. For one species, the activity of three digestive enzymes in midguts of adult worker honeybee were stronger than of lavae; The protease activity in the adults midguts of Apis cerana cerana Fabricius was lower than that of Apis mellifera iigustica Spionla, the amylase and ? sucrase activities in adults midguts of Apis cerana cerana Fabricius were higer than that of Apis mellifera iigustica Spionia, and there was no significant difference between large larvae and small one.
