This paper is an application of Computational Fluid Dynamics in the turbulent flow of air-conditioned room in which the numerical model is based on the fluid field of side-in and side-out airflow in air-conditioned room. Based on the theoretically analysis of physical and mathematical model, the K - e two-equation turbulence model and method of SIMPLE are adopted to simulate the two-dimensional air distribution of air conditioned-room, effect of buoyant force on K - ?model is considered and the wall function is used for the boundary condition. Governing equation discrete, solving of the conjugated algebraic equation set and SIMPLE method are also discussed in this paper. At last, the reliability and rationality of this simulation are analyzed and compared with different illustration. From the analysis and comparing, it proves that the K-e turbulence model and the boundary condition treatment used in this paper are correct and reliable for the distribution of non-isothermal air-conditioned room. This paper also presents a new method for studying and designing of the airflow and temperature fields in the air-conditioned room.
