This paper presents the experimental results of typical elements of field works such as reinforced concrete beams, fiber glass reinforced plastic honeycomb sandwich plates, flexible covers; examines the interrelationship of the loads and deformation under the condition of large deformation; obtains the laws governing the interaction of the medium and the structure; solves the design and calculation problems related to shallow buried structures in soil.This paper begins with a survey of the process of the structural design and calculation of shallow-buried structures using the analysis method, which is based on the way of structural dynamics-i.e., to make reasonable calculation hypotheses first, obtain the equation of motion of the structure, and then solve the equation to achieve the deformation characteristics of the structure.Chapter 3 introduces the static test of shallow-buried structures with flexible coverings and with fiber glass reinforced plastic honeycomb sandwich plates, presenting in detail the method and process of the test and the data charts obtained from the test.Chapter 4 summaries the relevant test data based on the tests done before, and puts forward the concept of the resistance curve, as well as the structural design and calculation method with the resistance curve, by drawing out the most essential deformation characteristics of the structure and the medium in the tests, while treating the structure and the medium as an organic whole.Practice shows that the structural design and calculation method with the resistance curve is scientific and reasonable, easy to carry out, and convenient to use.
