It is significant to research gravitational wave theory and to detection it. Gravitational wave is a prediction of A. Einstein's general relativity. But there is no direct experimental test by now. Detection of gravitational wave will test general relativity or any other gravitational theory directly and strictly. It would open a new window to very early cosmos and astronomical phenomena for astronomy. In relation to the detection of gravitational wave are important issues. They are description of energy-momentum false-tensor of gravitational field, quantization of gravitation and unification of quantum physics and general relativity. The method of using classic quantum field theory to quantize general relativity had ever been abandoned for unrenormalizability. But it get a renascence when the idea of effective quantum field theory appear. The idea grow up from a deep understand of renormalizability and divergence. In the dissertation, I have researched the interaction between gravitational wave and electromagnetic field using the effective field theory description of general relativity. Then I compare the result with that of classical method, and explore the consistency. Accordingly, I explore the probable means to detect gravitational wave.
