The main issue of this paper is how to make use of the observation of Doppler Radar to Mesoscale Numerical Forecasting, using Doppler Radar data to improve on the initial field of Numerical Model, and then examine the results. The plying modeli s Mesoscale Numerical Model MM5-V3.The experiments have two main parts. The first one makes use of wind field retrieval data. The wind field retrieval data are obtained by plied MUSCAT technique to transact the rude radial velocity data which were observed by dual-Doppler radar volume scans. Then adjust these data to needful format. And then combine T106 data,SST data and sur, uao meteorologic data to form initial field. The second one makes use of Doppler radar PPI data. Based on experience, it define relativity humidity value which corresponding echo value larger than 20dBz in the PPI fig. Then calculate relevant mesh dot position. In term of model's request, it translate relativity humidity value to dew point temperature value. Then adjust these data to needful format. And then combine T106 data,SST data and sur,uao meteorologic data to form initial field. At last compare these simulated results with control experiments.The paper makes use of Doppler radar data to Mesoscale Numerical model, through adjusting divergence fie ld,vertic al velo city fie Id etc . to improve oninitial field . The investigation results show that there is a improvement in the forecasting effects , precipitation position is closer to practicality.
