Preliminary Ecology Study On Dalbergia Hupeana Community In Huangpushan Nature Reserve, Anhui Province, China

The largest area Dalbergia hupeana community ,a Mixed Evergreen Broadleaved and Deciduous Broadleaved Forest in Huangpushan Nature Reserve ,Anhui Province,China,was studied preliminarily on nutrient character of the forest soil ,size class and the spatial distribution pattern in Dalbergia hupeana population as well as the characteristic of community structure and the regeneration in 9 quadrats. The results are as follows:The forest soil in Dalbergia hupeana community was infertile. In the community, the species of Dalbergia hupeana was dominant, and the percengtage of its important value amounted to 192.4362, Celtis biondii, Acer buergerianum, Lindera glauca, Pinus massoniana and Ailanthus altissima were main concomitant species .The altitudes to the quadrats of Dalbergia hupeana community differenced less and their spatial heterogenity were little. The indices of species diversity related unprominently with altitude, slope angle and transparence but related with people disturbed distance. In the community , Species richness, diversity index and evenness of shrub synusia were all larger than herb synusia,while ones of the arbor synusia were smaller than shrub synusia and herb synusia.The physiognomy of the community changed clearly with the seasonal shift. The chart of size class of population have two peak values. There were more young trees and sprouts, moreover there were most IV class, more I class and III class, less V class as well as least II class trees in the population reflected by light, heat, soil and competition in the species and other species. Therefore, the population were still firm. The spatial distribution pattern were studied with contiguous grid quadrat method and were measured with some indices.Q1-Q5, Q7 and Q8 distributed in clump and Q6 distributed at random, but Q9 distributed equably.On the basis of the results above, I believed the Dalbergia hupeanapopulation was climax community in secondary succession as vanguard population in North-Subtropical Zone Mixed Evergreen Broadleaved and Deciduous Broadleaved Forest. Meanwhile, dynamics of the population as well as protection were analyzed and discussed. In addition, the necessity of the study of ecological restoration in the North-Subtropical Mixed Evergreen Broadleaved and Deciduous Broadleaved Forest was also elaborated.
