Due to distribution of sand body and very variety of reservoir physical characteristics and serious nonuniformity in the upper palaeozoic gas pool at the SuLige gas field, during the course of gas and oil field development, it is urgent problem about how to predict precisionly the distribution of high permeable and thick reservoir bed, precisely choose the place of productive well. This article on basis of former work, through the study of sedimentary facies and sedimentary slender facies and reservoir nonuniformity, the neural network prediction technology, onlinear regression technology, the facies controlling krigon method, the defination and usage of reservoir synthesis value index, the reservior characteristics is researched meticulously.The main conclusion of research is that the formation of Shihezi and Shanxi in the upper palaeozoic gas pool at the SuLige gas field is characteristic of low permeability and medium porosity. The main factors controlling the reservoir quality are diagenesis and depositional facies. During diagenetic process, the main factor destroying porosity is function of pressure and cementation. Secondary porosity formem formed by unsteady mineral is beneficial to formation's development. Research area is characteristic of heterosphere obviously, which mainly manifests that distribution , thichness and extent of delelopping of sand body is not symmetrical. Difference of transverse permeating rate is more 10 times than longitudinal permeating rate. The research indicates: the principle productive formation at this area is the member of H8x, H8s on the lower Hezi formation that are good reservoir. The neural network technology is one kind of effective method in predication about parameter of formation. Comprehensive evaluating component of formation is of theoretical and practical significance to evaluating of formation.
