Building And Application Of Chengdu Atmospheric Environment Geographic Information System

Chengdu atmospheric environment geographic information system has been finished with two methods: MapBasic+MapInfo And VB+MapInfo+MapBasic. Characters of the system with two methods has been compared. Molder base of air quality assessment has been finished and integrated in the system. There are two molders of air quality assessment in the molder base: Standard Index Unit and API. Molders of air quality assessment has been finished with MapBasic. Table files in Chengdu atmospheric environment geographic information system can be used directly. We can get results of air quality assessment only by inputting some data. The results can be shown by form and by graph.Studying solves 4 problems:1) Managing air geochemistry data (including graph show, graph edit, query, searches, data convection and printing) easily has been realized.2) Combining position and attributes of air pollution source, Air pollution data can be shown in a map.3) We can analyze data , making some thematic maps and makingsome statisticalgraphs.4) Molders of air quality assessment has been finished, which is the emphasis and feature of the thesis.
