The Kangmar region is located in the North Himalayan Tectonic Zone , in which the stratums are a series of fold tectonic zone whose direction is approximately east-west. On this basis , overlaping south-north direction structures. In research area , the neutral-acid intruded rock is distributed widespreadly , including the Kangmar Dome and the Hajinsangre Dome , which are distributed in the east-west direction . On the great deal of detailed geological mapping resource , this thesis has in-depthly studied the tectonic geometry, kinetics , dynamics and the meaning in the development of the crust of this region by means of structure resolution, macrostructral and microstructural observation, finite strain measurement .The research result has suggested that in the southern and northern sides of the Kangmar-Hajinsangre Dome zone , the east-west direction lineral structure forms outstanding arc-shaped of south , throughout all the region from west to east . Alse the south-north direction structure's scale is very large . Main performance is : straight lineral valleys and the varying of the east-west direction fold' s hinge . In this region , the structure development can be divided into three stages : the formation of the east-west direction fold ; the overlaping of the south-north direction structures ; the later formation of the split basins . The formation of the Kangmar dome is these three structure functions' outcome .
