Ocean Multi-wave Exploration Technology

Nowadays, ocean multi-wave exploration technology is very popular in the marine exploration over the world. In geophysical prospecting field, the famous expert Mr. Liou guangding said that ocean multi-wave exploration will caused a new technology revolution in geophysical prospecting field like 3-C seismic exploration several years ago. From the viewpoint of resource demand , ocean multi-wave exploration is a useful technology to resolve the difficult problem just as blur zoon, structure distortion and gas pollution etc. Because of the monopolization by developed countries with high price and high technology, the developing of our ocean multi-wave exploration technology has been baffled for a long time. And now, there is a space in this kind of equipment in our country. So, in 1998, this subject was established and named National 863 project 820-05-02 subject by our country. Struggled through 3 years, we had made a 480- channels marine multi-component seismic exploration system. Include new circuit design of digital package , omnidirectional 3 component geophone, ocean bottom towed cable , marine four component seismic acquisition unit, hydrophone, recording system etc. In July 2001, this system was used in DAGANG field and worked over twenty Km. We obtained a good seismic data. This paper mainly introduce the work principle of ocean bottom cable system by 7 chapters. Chapter 1 introduce the development situation of the marine multi-component seismic exploration technology in our country and abroad.Chapter 2 sum up the structure of the system .Chapter 3 to 6 includes the design and function of the homemade sample equipment and the advantage of its key technique. Just as omnidirectional geophone struture, ocean bottom cable, data acquisition unit and recording system etc. Chapter 7 carefully instructs test situation of converted wave acquisition on the sea and appreciates the data quality. This paper also describes the bright application prospect of 4-c seabed cable acquisition system.There is a ocean experimentation report affixed to this paper.
