Underground pipes are important foundation facilities. Just like city roads, it is thread of substance current and information current of the city and is one of substances of social existence and development, making a role of energy provision, transmission and information exchangement. From transmitting across continent to underground pipes of community, pipes are playing an important role.With the development of society and gradual improvement of foundation construction has developed rapidly and underground pipes have became lager and lager. At the same time the complicacy of management is also increased year and year and underground pipes has changed on the original basis, adding nature gas, internet and so on .It has became more and more complicated. The renewal of the old underground pipes and the design and layout of new underground pipes all need all kinds of detailed information about underground pipes. All these formed information needs processing, but traditional man-made chart, depending on artificial management, statistics and analysis, whose managerial way is inefficient, has some difficulty in adapting to the requirement of rapidly developed data base and leads to large quantity of waste and hinders the improvement of maintenance efficiency and service level. Furthermore because of rapid increase of foundation construction and lack of efficient management to underground pipes, this forms "zipper phenomenon" and leads to repeat construction and resource waste. Due to unknowing the condition of underground pipes in work, people dig blindly, which usually cause many destruction of the pipe, such as gas leak, water pipe fracture and information interruption. These affect the economy construction and people's livelihood and life and hide away unsafe factor. So it's important to strengthen its management.Computer has its own superiority in handling and analyzing information, from original paper chart to using CAD and data base management, then to development and mature of GIS technique in recent years, it supplies many ways, making management reach a new level and guaranteeing the scientific nature of layout and design.The underground pipes of this article are an important part of digital campus ofShannxi Normal University, which systematically use GIS technique, database technique, and three-dimensional visible technique. It uses ActiveX to make second exploitation, finishing the whole design of the system and realizing the system exploitation.The author first introduced the management information system and its use in campus, drawing the system of digital campus and its underground pipes system and presenting that digital campus's underground pipes is an important part of digital campus and has an significance on campus's plan and administration. Then the author introduces its development abroad and pointed out the system's common shortage and new system's demands- by analysis. After this the author drafted the total plan of digital campus's underground pipes, and got the conception model and data structure pattern of it by analyzing its feature and chose the system's running pattern. Next the author introduced some key techniques in system development and formed the system.The distinction of the article lies in combining SCADA with GIS technique and putting forward the methods of dynamic underground pipes information system of digital campus. Its also uses SCADA technique to supervise the leak of the underground pipes and realize the supervision of system's data storage, processing and displaying the leaks and giving the system's original model, which dose some exploration and study for the underground pipes information system of dynamic digital campus from static imitation to dynamic underground pipes information system.At last, the author presented the new tendency of digital campus underground pipes and gave some summary and prospects to the whole paper.
