Tidal Depositon system in ShuangTaiZi River is the main depositonal body in modern LiaoHe River delta. Based on the bathymetric charts and Landsat data, the morphological change of the tidal depositonal system has been studied. The evolution of the tidal deposition system has been analysed, using drilling and shallow substrata data. The source of the sediment and the scour depth of the tidal channel has been studied, based on the tidal current and suspended sediments data. The results reveal a net accretional trend. Sediments accumulated hi tidal flat, the developing tidal channel migrated and the abandoned tidal channel filled with sediment.The sediment in the tidal flat consist of silt,sandy silt and silty sand.The developing tidal channal are scour,the abandoned tidal channal consist of mud,mud silt and mud silty clay.The evolution of morphology in ShangTaiZi River is restricted by the ShangTaiZi River, Tidal current control the distribution of the sediment, wave and the rotation force of the earth influence the migration of the deposition system. Suspend sand transported toward the Liaodongwang by the tidal and coastline current, are the important factor of the depostion in the ShuangTaiZi River Mouth. Based on the river-posture,the depth of the tidal channel is 14.3m arriving the balance of the ShuangTaiZi River, and above the exposing depth 10.0m using shallow substrata. The depth of the tidal channel showing hi the current Bathymetric data is below the computing depth due to the tidal channel migrated and filled.
