Lying in Southern Hunan, Dongpo ore field is geotectonically in the South China fold belt, which is famous for the gigantic reserves of tungsten, tin, molybdenum, bismuth, lead and zinc etc. Lead-Zinc deposit is mainly located at the south area of Qianlishan granite body and was born in the stratum of Devonian series in the exterior contact zone.This thesis is based on predecessors' work ,geological investigation ,also on a vast amount of geological information , rock and ore samples.From the view of regional geologic environment, using such theories and methods as modern petrology, gitology, geochemistry, mineralogy, isotope geology, metallogenic prognosis etc, and also by means of computer aid dada-processing and simulation mapping and so on, the author emphatically studies the relations between mineralization and strata, structures or magamatites, explains the properties, evolution of the ore field and structural stress field in its formation, analyses the origin of minerogenetic matters and fluids, presents the new viewpoint of origin of the deposit, sets up the typified minerogenetic model, summarizes the regulations of mineralization enrichment, points out the favorable regions for prospecting lead-zinc deposits in this area.On the basis of the above-mentioned study, the following conclusions are drawn: the location of Lead-Zinc deposit in Dongpo ore field is mainly controlled by the factors of stratum ,magamatites as well as structure, the origin of minerogenetic matters involves sedimentary stratum and magamatites, the origin of minerogenetic fluids involves atmospheric water, stratum water and a few magmatic water, which is hydrothermal ore fluids of Na+-Ca2+-Cl~,slightly acidic, this deposit proves to be low- middle temperature and hydrothermal filling-metasomatic type lead-zinc deposit.
