On Knowledge-and-Rule Based Pipes-Lines-Nets Data Model

Data model of GIS is the core of GIS. Much research has been conducted on GIS data mode] at home and overseas, and there was much mature and widely used data model. But only a little research has been done on the data model of Pipes-Lines-Nets of civicism,by Intergraph corp. and ESRI corp. in America and GROW corp. in ShenZhen. These data models of Pipes-Lines-Nets provides different resolvent to different municipal trade,but it do not recycle the data model, and do not provide the reciprocity in different trade, therefore they are not applicable to sharing of Pines-Lines-Nets geographical information in china, and hindered the development of construction of the GIS of Pipes-Lines-Nets.It is quite urgent to construct a new data model to realize the sharing of Pipes-Lines-Nets geographical information, recycle the software furthest, and reduce the cost. So based on knowledge and rule of Pipes-Lines-Nets GIS data model, this paper provide a whole resolvent of Pines-Lines-Nets data model.This paper reviewed some typical GIS data model. And it represented the framework of Pipes-Lines-Nets GIS data model through introducing the Pipes-Lines-Nets GIS kernel data model general Pipes-Lines-Nets GIS data model, Pipes-Lines-Nets GIS domain data model and Pipes-Lines-Nets GIS data model of trade application. Also it introduced the course of construction of Pipes-Lines-Nets data model and its logical data model. In the end, this paper researched three typical example of trade application of Pipes-Lines-Nets data model:trade application of data model of drain trade application of data model of street lamp trade application of data model of road detailedly.Based on summarizing method of software quality assessment, gene of software quality assessment etc., this paper Compared and assessed this data model with fashionable GIS data model qualitatively and quantitatively. This paper come to the conclusion that this data model is an advanced one which is applicable to construction of the Pipes-Lines-Nets GIS in china.At last, this paper discusses the realization and application of software platform for sharing Pipes-Lines-Nets, and expatiates three application of this software:rebuilding legacy system, building new system rapidly, and setting up mutual manipulation entironment of system.
