The technology of Raman spectral analysis is playing a significant role in many fields, so it is very important to design and manufacture Raman spectroscopy that is fitting in with the condition of our country. In this paper a novel set of portable Raman spectroscopy assembled with a .flat-field spectroscopy and a holographic notch filter is introduced. This kind of portable Raman spectroscopy has many merits such as simple mechanical design, compact and firm structure, no movable part, low stray light, high energy utility, convenience for operating and so on.With the view to measuring Raman spectrum, a holographic notch filter is designed according to Bragg Law. Based on the aberration theory of holographic flat-field concave gratings, the original structure parameters are calculated with Matlab and optimized with Zemax. Then the gratings are manufactured according to the optimized parameters. After that, the process of how to install and modulate the flat-field spectroscopy is described in detail and the effects of every step in the process on the imaging quality are analyzed. The characteristics of the flat-field spectroscopy including dispersion, spectral range andresolution are measured. A program for data-collection with CCD is edited and a new method for increasing SNR of CCD is proposed. It is shown that they are efficient in experiments. The Raman spectra of CC14, C2H5OH, and C3H60 in liquid excited by laser beam of 632. 8nm and 532nm wavelengths are measured respectively and presented in the paper. The experimental results show that this set of portable Raman spectroscopy is feasible in practice.
