Biological wax and its productions are used in many technical fields, such as medication, industry, food, instrument, agriculture, cosmetic, paper making, communication technology etc. And the widely used in theworld is white wax. The production of the wax is unsteady and the area of it isvery small in our country. With the development of economy and marketablerequirement, the contravention of the supply and the need is becoming moreand more seriously. Therefore, researches on other insects which can excretewax and expand the breed of them are very important. The area of waxproduction will be extended to the north and the profit must be good. Now, itis important to determine the value index, study the biological and ecologicalcharacteristics as well as the structure excreting wax of other wax insects, and study them in the field of microorganism-ecology in order to find the newway to increase production and so on.After investigation ,breeding in greenhouse and observation in lab, wehad studied the composition of wax of Ceroplastes japonicus Green ,thechange of morphology, the distribution on host plants and the relationbetween waxiness and microecology.1.It has tested that the mixture of most aliphatic esters, little alkylalcohol. And aliphatic hydrocarbon composed the waxiness, includingaromatic olefin and nonaromatic olefin. The value of benzene-insolublesubstances, iodine, saponify, acid and melting point is 0.7%, 8.9mgI/g,85-96mgKOH/g, 1.6mgKOH/g and 75℃-78℃respectively.2.The distribution on persimmon tree of female adult survive the winterwas gather distribution and the level of gather would increase with theincrease of population. The number of distribution on persimmon tree at sunnyside is more than at the shaded side.3.Host plants and temperature were the most reasons in influence...
