First, we review the idea of color dipole picture which was firstly developed by A. Mueller. Then by using Time Ordered Perturbation Theory(TOPT), we study the scattering picture and color dipole picture of Deep Inelastic Scattering(DIS) at leading logarithmic approximation(LLA) and collinear factorization scheme. We find that at leading twist level(twist 2), the results of these two approaches are identical to that of the covariant perturbation theory. However, this kind of duality will be broken at higher twist amplitude. The reason is that the color dipole picture uses the model of photons splitting into quark-antiquark pairs which leads to the problem that whether color dipole picture is equivalent to scattering picture. At last, we re-derive the Altareli-Parisi equation by using TOPT and color dipole picture.
