Reservoir research is an important study object in oil and gas exploration , reservoir evaluation is the key content of oil field exploration .In this paper, take off the research of Tabamiao area, which is in the north of Erdos basin. Under the sand distribution is approximately clear , I use geology, earthquake, well drilling , logging and test information, further study the heterogeneous, the relation between the sand bodies , gas bearing and the dynamic feature to offer technology to serve gas field exploration.Tabamiao area is fluvial facies and the river direction is from north to south, the rock type is litharenit and the diagenesis is strong. The stratum can be divided into 3 sequences, H1, H2 and H3 from bottom to top. The stratum body thickness is 100—150 m in general, and sand is south thick and north thin and is more thick in the sand body of main river. The sand belongs to low porosity and permeability . The porosity distribution scope is 0.2% — 19.3%, is 6.79% in average, permeability distribution scope is 0.01 — 59.15×10-3 um2, is 0.694×10-3um2 in average. The sandstone is little hole, hole structure differ from comparatively, the more bigger of the size of the sand , the more better of the physical property. Sand body thickness vary greatly , on longitudinal H1 is more connectible than H2 and H3 .On landscape the sand connecting is good in the main direction of river orientation. Deposition control the distribution of reservoir, affect the physical property and gas bearing . All well should be compressive fracture to explore , in which the output of H2 and H3 is relatively higher. The well test feature is low porosity and permeability, and the connecting extent is not good. The effect of compressive fracture is good , pressure coefficient is big , the physical property is good , so the output is normally higher . Determining the southeast section of Tabamiao area is most distant view to possibly get high output potential.
