The Evolution Features Of Scouring And Silting Of The Yellow River Delta And Forecast

The changes of scouring and silting of the Yellow River Delta is complicated and speedy, and it clearly lies on the changes of the coastline. Depending on the Remote Sensing technology and GIS, by contrasting a series of Remote Sensing data, the dynamic evolution of the coastline could be observed in the Yellow River Delta clearly. By the Remote Sensing technology and GIS, we study the recent dynamic evolution of the coastline in the Yellow River Delta, and that is very important to exploit the oil resource, carry out the sustainable development of the Delta.The data includes the multi-temporal Remote Sensing data, annual water depth data and hydrological data. Combining RS and GIS, we study the coastline evolution of the Delta from 1976 to 2002. The main contents are as follows:(1) Analyzing the data of the remote sense data by the means of EOF, and forecasting the coastline's developing trend of the Yellow River Delta.(2) Studying the dynamic monitoring of the Yellow sea zero meter line. The climax line and water borderline can be chalked up. The gradient canbe computed. So the Yellow sea zero meter line can gained. From the data, we could study deeply the evolution features of coastline in the Delta.(3) Analyzing the correlations of the water and sand sedimentation of the Yellow River and the coastline evolution. On the basis of the monitoring data, by combining water and sand data, discussing the relationship of the water and sand of the Yellow River and its coastline evolution.(4) Analyzing the correlation of Fractal and the coastline evolution. The Fractal of the Yellow sea zero meter line can be gained. By combining water and sand data, the correlation of Fractal and the coastlineevolution can be discussed.(5) Building up the BP artificial nerve network model about the area of the Delta and the river mouth. By use of the model, we finished the forecast of the Delta1 area in short time.
