The dynamic behavior of plate-type structure is important in the fluid-solid coupling vibration. This thesis introduces pipe theory into the flow-induced vibrating research of plate-type structure and the mechanical model is set to describe the structure. The differential quadrature method is used to solve the differential equations. The system's natural frequencies are studied when the flow speed is zero. The critical velocity and form of instability are studied by the means of eigenvalue and response analysis. The effect of different parameters on the critical velocity is also analyzed. The following sections are included:(a) The summary of the recent models, methods, achievements, and unsolved problems are drawn in the dynamic topic of both the plate-type structure and pipe conveying fluid.(b) The plate-type pipe model is established. Because that the different plates have different vibrational phase, the model's equation is deduced based on Hamilton principle. The viscoelastic damp is introduced and its equation is established.(c) The differential quadrature method is used to discrete the differential equations.(d) The free vibration and stability analysis are focused on the cantilevered model and fixed model.(e) The stability analysis is focused on the influence of different parameters. This thesis connects the flow-induced vibration of the plate-type structurewith the dynamic of pipes conveying fluid, and is a theoretical reference for this topic.
