The Disquisition On Fracture Character And Deep-Level Geological Structure In The North Yellow Sea Basin

The North Yellow Sea, surrounded with LiaoDong peninsula, ShanDong peninsula and Korea peninsula, extends in northeast. The North Yellow Sea basin is a Mz (Mesozoic)-Cz (Cenozoic) hollow-fracture basin, which shapes on the background of local upheaval formation. The fracture formations are highly developed in this area, which can be divided into NE-NEE trend, NEE trend, E-W trend and NW trend, depended on their trends.Presently , researches indicate that the areal structure in the North Yellow Sea is complex and it belongs to virgin prospect areas which contain s the oil and natural gas . Korea (D. P. R.) has spied out the oil and natural gas in this area .But it still has the frontier disputes about maritime space and the oil and natural gas resources. It is significant to research the North Yellow Sea on doing theoretical research, exploiting marine resource and vindicating marine rights and interests. It has become one of the hot topics about geonomy researches.
