Motivation:The progress of genome sequencing and gene recognition has been quit significant in the last few years. However, the gap between a complete genome sequence and a functional understanding of an organism is still huge. Many questions about gene functions, expression mechanisms, and global integration of individual mechanisms remain open. The DNA microarray technology allows gene expression levels to be measured for the whole genome at the same time. While the amount of available gene expression data has been increasing rapidly, the required mathematical techniques to analyze such data is still in development.Particularly, deriving a gene regulatory network from gene expression data has proven to be difficult. There have been quite a few methods including sophisticated mathematical models that are used to analyze gene regulatory network. However, these methods have their own limitation respectively. So in our research,we bring up a new mathematical model to construct gene regulatory network, and develop corresponded program. Method: â‘ The differential equations and boolean models are often used to describe gene regulatory network. So we combine two methods to linear differential-boolean model, and explore a solutions in theory.â‘¡We apply our method to genechip data of yeast Saccharnomyces cerevisiae ,which is from Internet,by Matlab software. And we compare calculated results with experimental results. Result:Our method construct regulatory network of yeast Saccharnomyces cerevisiae's regulatory genes and targeting genes.Through compared ,we find the calculated results are concurred with experimental results. We make a lot of predictions about unkown regulatory relation between genes. Conclusion:Linear differential-boolean model can be used to describe gene regulatoy network, and may be available to more diverse conditions and in more complex eukaryotes.
