Design And Implementation Of Map-Sale System On Urban Large-Scale Topographic Map

Urban large-scale topographic map is one of the main products of urban surveying and mapping departments. Based on it, the government can govern city and make city layout. So as the last part of the surveying and mapping industry, map provision is the most important to both the supply and the demand sides.The selling pattern of urban large-scale topographic map has changed greatly. It has changed from only supplying paper maps to supplying both paper and digital maps. The supplying style is also more flexible and various. In order to satisfy different levels of users, it renders challenges to surveying and mapping departments on how to sell map more conveniently and perfectly.Based on the demands mentioned above, this paper designed and implemented a map-sale system on urban large-scale topographic map. This system is made of two parts: Information Query System and Map-sale System. Through the system users can find the rough map area they needed quickly and get the number of needed maps. At the same time, AutoCAD can be activated and the corresponding topographic map will be brought out on the AutoCAD platform. Through the developing language (AutoLisp) we can insert all the maps relative to the ones the users needed, divide and split them automatically. What's more, we can add a new outline on them according to the users' demands.
